Sony Ericsson is a doing a major revamp of its multimedia phones line-up. Yesterday they unveiled three gorgeous new multimedia phones which would hit the markets by the fourth quarter of this year.
Sony Ericsson Satio
The much hyped Idou has a new name – Satio. Satio features a 12.1 Megapixel camera with Xenon flash, Image Stabiliser, Face Detection, Smile Detection and Geo-Tagging. The 3.5 inch TFT touch-screen with 16:9 widescreen dimensions is ideal for watching videos on the go. Satio is powered by Symbian S60 5th edition, which means that it will be capable of running a wide range of applications on it. Satio will include an 8 GB micro SD card to complement 128 MB of internal memory.
Sony Ericsson Yari
Yari is Sony’s gaming phone that will feature unique gesture based gaming. Gesture based gaming allows you to play games using your body movements. Yari will come preloaded with a large selection of games that will allow you to keep fit and stay in shape or just enjoy yourself with virtual tennis or boxing. Sony Ericsson claims Yari will be the first phone outside of Japan to feature gesture based gaming. Yari will also feature a more than competent 5-megapixel camera, state-of-the art music player and stereo speakers , assisted-GPS and instant messaging.
Sony Ericsson Aino
The third phone announced yesterday is Aino. This touch screen phone is another multimedia powerhouse with its fair share of unique features. Aino includes Media Go application which automatically fetches latest videos, music tracks and podcasts from your PC to Aino over Wi-Fi. The other unique application included in Aino is Remote Play. If you own a PS3 you can attach Aino to your PS3 unit and control and access media content on your PS3 using your phone. Aino also includes a slide-in keyboard to complement the touchUI and features all-round media capabilities (with bundled wireless headsets) and an impressive 8.1 megapixel camera.

So just wondering which u think better – i was gonna say Nokia – purely cos its a Nokia, but this is ooking pretty awesome – Dont look at cost, merely on features etc. which u think is better?
I am not sure which two phones you are comparing. And if you are comparing just SE with Nokia that is a really debatable topic and one I wouldn’t like to engage in. It varies from model to model.
when is the sony ericsson satio (idou) will be released? Does anyone has a website that I can get every updated information about SE Satio? Thanks.
The iPhone is a very smart phone; it has very advance technological features compared to other phones on the same league. But on the other-hand the all new Satio from Sony Ericsson is a beast compared to the iPhone.
The Sony Ericsson Satio is a very intelligent device incorporates with 12.5 megapixel onboard camera and 3.5 inch widescreen (16:9 aspect ratios)
