Opera Software has been churning out new releases at a phenomenal pace. They have just released Opera 10.5 beta for Windows. This incidentally, is the seventh build that Opera has released this month.
Speed is not all that Opera 10.5 brings to the table. Evenes supports private tabs as well as private windows. When in private browsing mode no browsing history is recorded. The User Interface (UI) has received a significant facelift. Evenes features a much more refined UI which supports Aero (Windows Vista/7), Jumplists (Windows 7) and Taskbar tabs (Windows 7). In your face dialogue boxes have been replaced by new overlay prompts, which are better integrated with the UI. The updated Presto rendering engine introduces support for HTML5 Video playback along with improved CSS 2.1 and CSS 3 support. Click here to learn more about what is new in Opera 10.5.
Opera 10.5 for Mac and UNIX are well into the alpha stage but there are still plenty of outstanding issues. In related news, Opera has completely open sourced Dragonfly (developer tools) which is now hosted on BitBucket.

I really like using Opera on my little netbook. It is superfast even with a slow processor.
I tried Opera 10.5 Beta and it is a huge (better) difference from previous Opera version and it is extremely fast.
But yes I agree that competition in browser world is fierce. All of them are improving every day.
I’ve been using Opera 10 for a while and it’s fantastic. I’m going to wait for a more stable release to try 10.5
actually does it support plugins? Thats another huge feature of browsers i absolutely need.
What i like about previous version opera is that its a fast browser and really comparable to chrome. I guess they wont take away that plus of opera on this version. And another thing i like is its more organized feeds.
