    Good post. You have made a near comprehensive list of all annoyances and how to block them.
    One thing that miffs me about opera these days is that they have become less focused about the browser and have started diverting their energies on extra stuff like unite etc.
    As a result of which, opera has a very bad AJAX performance and a large number of incompatibilities. The Opera team should really get back to the main browser.
